Join us in the Lower Garden for Basket Weaving! Each participant will go home with their very own hand woven basket!
This class will last 2.5 hours. All participants of the beginners class will be eligible to sign up for the Advanced class which will cover how to start the basket from scratch. We are seeking participants to sign-up and bring their string trimmers to selectively string trim Japanese Stilt Grass in predetermined areas while doing their best to avoid any native plants in the mix. We are hoping to reduce native plant casualties, but recognize it might happen! The end goal is to carefully knock down as much grass while it is in flower before it seeds.
